SPARC will provide training to ensure FCT Staff feel equipped to perform their duties and to further the professional development of FCT Staff. As a part of this training, FCT Staff will complete a 40-hour on-line course and pass fidelity markers in each of the 4 phases of FCT treatment. FCT Staff will further complete 20-hour on-line course and pass fidelity markers on each of the Recovery specific interventions of FCT Treatment. The Role: Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Practitioner as an FCT Practitioner, you’ll be at the forefront of helping families thrive by utilizing the evidence-based Family Centered Treatment (FCT) model. This role involves working closely with families who have experienced dysfunction, with the goal of keeping children in their homes or reunifying families. Many of the families we serve include parents dealing with substance abuse or addiction, so candidates with LCAS or CSAC licensure are highly encouraged to apply.

You will maintain an active caseload of 4-6 families, meeting with them multiple times a week in their homes. Flexibility is key, as sessions are scheduled at times that best suit the families, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends. You will work closely with Social Workers and other members of the Child and Family Team to provide comprehensive support.

Our Hiring goal begins for a hire date Mid-January and 1 hire every month with Qualified Candidates.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

  • Licensure: LCAS or CSAC is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year providing in-home services, with a strong background in trauma-informed care.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Human Services field with 2 years of verifiable Child Mental Health experience.
  • Skills: Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse population, demonstrate flexibility and creativity, and exhibit strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Personal Traits: An enthusiastic learner, willing to make mistakes and grow. A team player who understands the value of collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
  • Be willing to work with families dealing with Substance Use/Addiciton
  • Be willing to pursue LCAS/CADC credential immediately upon hire if not already earned
