Family Centered Treatment (FCT) is an evidence based in-home model which utilizes family systems theory to support families who have experienced family dysfunction. Our goal is to maintain children in their homes or reunite children who have been removed. Many of the families we serve have parents who are experiencing substance abuse/addiction, so LCAS/CADC candidates are encouraged to apply.

An FCT Practitioner has an active case load of 4-6 families at a time. We meet with families multiple times a week in their homes providing FCT sessions. In order to best serve families, we schedule sessions at times that are best for the family – afternoons, evenings, weekends. FCT Staff will serve families in the Henderson County & Buncombe County, NC areas. FCT Staff are on-call for families in order to best support families. FCT Staff partner closely with Social Workers and any other members of the Child and Family Team.

SPARC will provide training to ensure FCT Staff feel equipped to perform their duties and to further the professional development of FCT Staff. As a part of this training, FCT Staff will complete a 40-hour on-line course and pass fidelity markers in each of the 4 phases of FCT treatment. FCT Staff serve families while going through the credentialing process. (www.familycenteredtreatment.com)
