As a trusted partner of the Department of Social Services, we are on the lookout for a dynamic Visitation Specialist to join our exceptional team. This role is the cornerstone of transforming lives and ensuring the safety, happiness, and growth of children and families during supervised visits between biological parents and their children.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Buckle up as you transport children and parents to and from visit locations, using your own vehicle or county-approved vehicles when available.
• Be the beacon of positive parenting behaviors, imparting wisdom in setting boundaries, diffusing conflicts, and promoting sibling harmony.
• Be the guiding light for parents, helping them prepare for visits and navigate separation and loss issues.
• Be the guardian of safety, identifying and addressing potential risks like domestic violence, mental health concerns, substance abuse, and more.
• Be the architect of structure during visitation, empowering parents to demonstrate safety behaviors as visits progress.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A High School Diploma or 2 years of counseling or related human services experience.
• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license to embark on this exciting journey.
• A background in teaching parenting skills, backed by experience in working with children in school or community settings.
• The ability to build bridges of trust rapidly with parents and children.
• A knack for technology, crucial for virtual visits and keeping observation records.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and online records management systems, your trusty companions on this adventure.

Your Reward:

An attractive annual salary of $36,000.00 – $38,000.00 awaits you.
